Who We Are
The Arizona Pointing Dog Club (AZPDC), based in Phoenix Arizona, is a member-lead, non-profit group dedicated to mutually enriching our lives through friendship and fieldwork for our dogs. AZPDC was established as a club for anyone wishing to learn how to train a pointing dog. While we will not train your dog for you, our members will help guide, mentor, and share techniques.
Our group is full of hard-working folks from around the state with a single passion to spend time learning with our dogs. At any event you are bound to run into German Shorthaired Pointers, Wirehaired Pointers, Brittanys, Setters, English Pointers, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and maybe even a Pudelpointer or Münsterländer.

Upland Hunting
Picture the hunter and their dog returning to camp with the satisfaction of a job well done and the strengthening of bond between hunting partners. But where does a handler learn to train his dog and develop the skills to achieve this reward?
Most AZPDC members find themselves chasing wild birds in the trial off-season. Training sessions, trials, and fun hunts set our dogs up for a more successful hunt, regardless of the game species.
Who's Invited
AZPDC is not breed specific. All pointing breeds are welcome!
We are a family-oriented club that invites participation from all; men, women and youth.
Club members enjoy those opportunities when we can show today’s youth the fun of the outdoors.
